Lumineers are a particular brand of porcelain veneers that are made by Den-Mat, a dental materials company here in California. They are extra tough, which enables them to be made thinner than some other brands of porcelain veneers.
Whereas most brands of porcelain veneers are made to a thickness of 0.5 millimeter, Lumineers can be made 0.3 millimeter thick.
