A Snap-On Smile

The Snap-on Smile is made from a crystallized acetyl resin. It literally snaps on over your existing teeth, giving you a new look. It is tough enough that you can eat on it, and it is estimated to last about four years. All this at a small fraction of the cost of porcelain veneers. In fact, you can get a complete smile makeover for the cost of one or two veneers. The procedure is fairly simple. First, you meet with Dr. Frey to determine the shade and shape of teeth you want in your new smile. Then we take impressions of your upper and lower teeth, so that we can make models of your teeth.

The models are then sent to Den-Mat Laboratory here in California, and they create the new smile for you based on Dr. Frey's instructions. You come back into the office, we adjust the smile to make sure it fits perfectly, and you're ready to go.

Then wear it as much as you'd like. You can eat on it, but we would recommend that after eating, you excuse yourself and find a place where you can snap it out, swish, and put it back in. You also need to take it out to brush and floss, and we recommend leaving it out at night.
